Michael Sesnowitz: The Retrospection and Expectation of MBA
Michael Sesnowitz has been Dean of the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia since July, 2000. The School has approximately 3200 undergraduate and 500 graduate students and offers degree programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. levels. Prior to joining VCU, Dr. Sesnowitz was Dean of the School of Business Administration at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.

Dr. Sesnowitz received the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in economics from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, and the Ph.D. in economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to accepting the Dean’s position at the University of Vermont, he was a professor of economics at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, where he taught courses in microeconomics and public finance. Dr. Sesnowitz has published widely in major academic journals, and has served on numerous non-profit boards.
